Antoinette, Andrew and the staff are great at welcoming people and letting them feel at home! The place is amazing, beautiful rooms with stunning views of the countryside and a lovely breakfast to make everything even more perfect. I highly recommend it.
Just back from a fantastic two night stay at Dollardstown House. What a find! Super accommodation in beautiful surroundings with amazing food and service. We will certainly be back.
Had a great stay there, very comfortable with great food plus great hosts. If you want a peaceful location this is it. A great personal touch by Andrew and Antoinette.

Dollardstown House offers a heart warming break in a historic family home. Enjoy the grounds and gardens in summer or the open fires in winter. The house is an ideal base for exploring Ireland’s Ancient East, taking in local events, visiting more than 20 beautiful gardens, or just relaxing in peaceful and quiet surroundings.

This is a place to really unwind and get away from it all – any time of year. Whether you are traveling in a group, with a friend, as a couple or in your own company, you will find a warm and homely welcome awaits you. We invite you to leave your worries behind and relax by our open fires.

The house sits on 20 acres of mature parkland, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere here. Although the parkland is grazed by cattle, most of the gardens can be enjoyed by our guests. The Behan family always were keen gardeners. Andrew is a horticulturalist. And it shows. There are many plants and trees to be enjoyed. Some trees have been around since the times of Napoleon! (Nelson’s ship was made partly with trees from Dollardstown.)
