The village of Caherconlish is located 16 km southeast of Limerick City in east County Limerick. It is one half of the parish of Caherconlish / Caherline. The village is situated along the River Groody. There was considerable expansion of Caherconlish in the 2006-2008 period. The decade began with the construction of a new Community Hall, The Millenium Centre, which serves the Parish of Caherconlish / Caherline.
