ACP Architectural Conservation Professionals
Grageen House, Cappanuke, Cappamore, Co. Limerick
ACP, a multidisciplinary award winning Built Heritage Consultancy, have worked on over 600 projects since we were established in 2000 for private clients, charitable organisations, government departments and public authorities. We have over 15 specialist consultants and who will be able to draw on a vast array of similar projects to implement the requirements of the appointment.
The Practice has extensive experience in producing Conservation Appraisals and Management Plans and providing environmentally conscious refurbishments and alterations to historic structures to meet the needs and requirements of the modern user.
ACP recently advised the Government of India on policies for their National Monuments. We are currently working with the Heritage Foundation in Newfoundland Canada on a number of nationally significant buildings.
We believe that caring for the historic environment is a dynamic process involving change and its management. It is as much about building a partnership between the building or landscape, the owner, and the various other stakeholders such as planning authorities, as bringing ‘best practice’ solutions to deal with the current problems.
ACP’s strength is in advising our client’s from a ‘Position of Knowledge’ about their historic property and its future potential.
Our consultants have specialist knowledge and experience in understanding the causes of structural defects, their diagnosis and the structural alteration and preservation of traditional buildings.
