Mid West Lime Ltd is a heritage restoration and conservation company carrying out works to all types of historic structures and monuments both private and commercial throughout Ireland.
Most of our work involves the use of lime mortar, whether its internal, external or in the roof space, and our understanding of this material and its compatibility with other materials ensures that quality is not compromised, and that budget constraints are managed from an early stage in a project.
We can offer an extensive choice of finishes for our external renders and use a variety of mixes for our finish coats. We can match a historic plaster and any historic moldings that already exists on a structure. For internal walls it is really down to the personal preference of the client be it a trowelled smooth finish or a coarse more organic feel.
We also carry out repointing works on historic structures and ruins from Medieval times right up to more modern structures.
