This property was originally a farm yard for a large estate. It comprises of a large two story, double roofed building, which has a sloped stone entrance up to the second floor where there was once a mill wheel. There is a court yard at the back of the building which had stables on both sides. The smaller building was once used as living quarters for the workers there.
This property is 2km from a small historic village called Lorrha. Lorrha has two pubs and a local community shop which sells a few select groceries and crafts. It also has a small tea room. These buildings are located just 6km from Portumna and Terryglass. It is only a short distance from the top of Lough Derg. The top of this lake can be accessed through a callow where there is a small canal for boats which is only about a three minute walk up the road.
These buildings sit on 14.93 acres of land. The bigger building needs a lot of work as can be seen from the photos but the smaller building is not in as bad a condition.
