My host went many ‘extra miles’, including finding me a cycle to borrow from a local family member. She also collected me from the bus stop, around 3.5km from the accommodation. The apartment is really comfortable, and very well appointed. While I was there for work purposes, the beautiful location meant I had a lovely break too.
Great location, not far from the airport. We stayed here for a few days before coming home, it was easy to tour the Boyne Valley & also a short trip into Dublin. The apartment was surrounded by interesting courtyards and green fields. Would definitely return here if visiting the area again.
This 2 bedroom first floor apartment has a lovely cosy feel and has plenty of space at the same time. The fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and fridge freezer has a dining area for five, while the separate lounge room with open fire and comfortable sofa and armchairs is a lovely space to relax after a busy day.
The main bedroom has a king size bed and single, while the second is a twin room. The large bathroom complete with freestanding bath and electric shower also has a separate laundry area.
Outside the grounds are fabulous for rambling and you can even check for eggs in the chicken coup. You feel away from the world yet there’s a footpath to Kells town and bikes available to borrow.
