Bianca Divito Glass Artist
The Old School House, Knockgreany, Coolgreany, Co. Wexford
Bianca Divito is the founder and lead artist at Divito Studios. Following a degree in Architectural Glass at the Swansea Metropolitan University in Wales, Bianca’s early career focused on gaining experience in the conservation process.
The Worshipful Company of Master Painters & Glaziers in London awarded Bianca the Award of Excellence in 2004 and since then her in-depth knowledge and training has led her to work on many high profile conservation projects notably in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, on the Gospel windows of Evie Hone and on windows in Canterbury Cathedral. Her studio is fully conversant in current conservation techniques and she also provides full documentation in line with CVMA guidelines. Other notable international work includes a contemporary window scheme in the Guest Palace in Oman.
Divito Studios also create bespoke glass commissions, public artworks, and residential commissions, working with the client to create memorable and meaningful pieces. Trophies, lamps and glass garden features are also available to order, along with a retail selection of smaller hanging pieces ideal for corporate or personal gifting.
Divito Studios is based at The Old Schoolhouse, in Coolgreaney, Co Wexford, where Bianca designs and makes her glass pieces, and also offers short glass art courses.
