Glasshaus Studio was established in 2004 by Tomas and Liam McCorkell in response to a growing demand for high quality specialist art glass in Ireland. Liam McCorkell has studied at the Architectural Glass Department of Swansea Institute, graduating with a BA/Hons. in Architectural Stained Glass. He has also studied in Finland, Germany and France and has over 30 years experience in the field. Our staff are continually seeking ways to advance our skills and knowledge through research of new advances in our chosen medium. Tomas McCorkell is a self-taught glass painter and artist.

Designing and producing projects for period properties is very challenging task due to the variety of architectural buildings and period styles. Whether a property is Medieval, Georgian, Regency, Victorian, or Edwardian a project can only be successful if the attention detail and ability of the craftmanship used. At glasshaus studio we have the experience and ability to design and produce projects that seamlessly blend into their environment and enhance the experience of the viewer.

We also offer a comprehensive conservation service from conception to completion undertaking all aspects of the process, in-house. Each project is executed to the highest conservation standards. With our highly trained, qualified to higher degree level and experienced staff, we aim through our working philosophy to preserve our heritage for future generations to appreciate. Utilising our craftmanship and skilled expertise, we have successfully completed a large number of projects throughout Ireland and are pleased to offer a broad range of conservation services that provide our clients with flexible options when considering a studio to undertake specialist conservation work to their stained glass.
