Absolutely stunning location! The owners are fantastic! We came upon it by accident and planned on just staying one night but ended up staying a second. The food is phenomenal too. Just an all around perfect place. Can’t wait to go back!

Carrig is hidden away on Caragh Lake and lies at the foot of the northern lower slopes of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks at the head of the Caragh Valley. It is a magnificent tranquil location midway between the bustling town of Killorglin to the east and the charming village of Glenbeigh to the west.
Walking, angling, cycling, mountaineering, orienteering and kayaking are just some of the myriad of activities and things to do on our doorstep at this luxury country house. Golfing in Kerry is a religion! There are 15 wonderful golf courses within a 1 hour drive of us. It is centrally located for touring the Ring of Kerry, the Wild Atlantic Way, the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park or visiting World Heritage site, Skellig Michael. However, you may prefer to just unwind with a good book, sip an Irish whiskey and soak up the atmosphere at this charming country inn.
